Nominations sought for small business award

The Mid-Columbia Small Business Awards Banquet is seeking nominations for the 2014 Small Business Award.

This year's theme is "Shine a Spotlight on Local Business." The awards recognize outstanding small businesses in Benton and Franklin counties for excellent customer service, exceptional commitment to employees and superior community relations.

Randy Way, the 2012 gold winner, will conduct a workshop to assist nominators with their packets from noon to 1 p.m. today and March 14 in the Sandberg Event Center, 331 W. 41st Ave. in West Richland.

The intent to nominate forms must be submitted by 5 p.m. March 14, either by phone at 967-0521 or by email sent to wrcc@westrichlandchamber. org. The final nomination deadline is March 28.

Nomination packets can be downloaded at http://midcolumbiasmallbiz.com/nominations. The awards banquet will be in May.
