Business with transit systems focus of talk

By The Tri-City HeraldFebruary 18, 2014

"Meet the Buyer: Doing Business with Local Transit Systems" is the topic of a talk scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m. today in the Bechtel Board Room at the Tri-Cities Business and Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd. in Kennewick.

The Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center and the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce are offering the program.

The free program is designed to educate businesses interested in selling to transit systems. The session will inform attendees about finding opportunities, how to begin selling to the transit systems, the buying process and certification programs.

Space is limited so reservations are required. RSVP at http://washingtonptac.org/events. For more information, call Ashley Coronado, PTAC Business Counselor, at 491-3231 or email her at ashley.coronado@tricityregionalchamber.com.
