Canine good citizen class starts Saturday

A six-week AKC Canine Good Citizen class will be available from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturdays beginning Saturday at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Road.

The class is designed at an intermediate level for dogs that are already well-behaved and have an understanding of basic commands such as sit, down, stay and so on. Dogs can earn an AKC certification.

The fee is $125 for residents of Pasco and Richland, and varies for non-residents. Deadline to register is today. Call Pasco Recreation Services at 545-3456 to learn more.
