Hanford State of Site meetings rescheduled

Tri-City HeraldFebruary 12, 2014

Hanford State of the Site meetings have been rescheduled for April.

The meetings, which give the public a chance to ask top Hanford officials about the nuclear reservation, were scheduled for October. But they had to be canceled because of the federal government shutdown.

Now a meeting has been scheduled for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 29 at the Red Lion Hotel Hanford House in Richland. Although the agenda has not been released, an open house usually is held before the formal portion of the meeting.

Meetings also will be 6 to 9 p.m. April 15 in Seattle, April 16 in Portland and April 17 in Hood River, Oregon.
