Disability claims office opens in Kennewick

The Eastern Washington Center of Occupational Health & Education has opened an office in Kennewick. The center is a program of St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute and Inland Northwest Health Services in collaboration with the state Department of Labor and Industries, a news release said. The new office is at 3311 W. Clearwater Ave., Suite C116.

"Our efforts are to help get people back to work in a safe and timely way by working with health care providers, employers, L & I and employees. There are approximately 5,000 state claims in the area, making our services vital to an effective workforce," said Nancy Webster, director of St. Luke's rehabilitation services and the COHE program, in the news release.

Other Eastern Washington Center of Occupational Health & Education offices are in Yakima, Wenatchee and Spokane, the release said. For more information, go to www.gocohe.com.
