Tri-City HeraldFebruary 7, 2014

Winter weather has caused the postponement of the Winter Birds event that had been scheduled for Saturday. It has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on March 1.

The McNary National Wildlife Refuge in Burbank plays host to the event.

Activities will include guided bird walks, owl pellet dissection and a bird banding demonstration. There also will be special presentations, including a demonstration of live birds of prey.
