Letter: Political correctness erodes freedom

I have one quick comment to the Kennewick School District's response to my Dec. 29 letter to the editor. The district's spokeswoman did list all the holiday touches at the Kennewick School District offices except for the one that my original letter to the editor addressed.

The actual word "Christmas" had to be removed by district employees after displays had gone up. That is what I meant by "political correctness" has come to the Kennewick School District. And with "political correctness" comes a loss of freedom.

But, it's only a very small loss of freedom. But then will come another and another, and another and another and ...
