Gov. Jay Inslee has issued a proclamation calling for a "moment of LOUDNESS" for the Seahawks.

Gov. Jay Inslee has issued a proclamation calling for a "moment of LOUDNESS" at 12:12 p.m. Wednesday to celebrate the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl championship. He asks for residents to make as much noise as possible for 30 seconds.

“No other team’s fans come close to the 12th Man. Our team is bigger, faster and stronger and the 12th Man is without question louder than anyone else in the nation,” said Inslee. “Tomorrow we’ll celebrate our team and their win with a Beastquake that will rattle the ground from Duvall to Denver.”

The Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos 43-8 on Sunday to claim their first National Football League championship, and only the second modern-day title for a Washington state professional sports team. A parade through Seattle is planned for Wednesday.
