Woman sought as material witness in Kennewick assault

— Authorities are searching for a 24-year-old woman wanted as a material witness to an October stabbing in Kennewick.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Samantha Julia Carter, according to Crime Stoppers. Carter is a witness in an assault with a deadly weapon case that is scheduled to go to trial this week.

Bryan P. Aho, 21, is accused of stabbing a 16-year-old boy two times near the rib cage, court documents said. The teen had surgery for a punctured diaphragm.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to Carter’s arrest. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 586-8477, 800-222-8477 or ww.tricitiescrimestoppers.org.
