Doctor named director Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health

Dr. Robert Doty has been named medical director of Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health, which provides mental and behavioral health services in Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla, Yakima, Kittitas and Klickitat counties. Doty will oversee clinical services, supervise medical staff and act as a liaison to the greater medical community, a news release said.

He earned a medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and underwent psychiatry residency training at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in New York, the release said. Doty is an alum of the public psychiatry fellowship program of the New York State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia University, according to the new release.
