Letter: Chief Jo's new paint

February 3, 2014

I'd like to write to express my appreciation to the Richland School District for repainting Chief Joseph Middle School. Although I was outraged at first, I now see that it greatly improves the atmosphere of the school. It now looks friendlier and safer but, that I also would like to express I am disappointed that RSD could not do so while incorporating the school colors better.

I'm glad that they decided to not repaint some of the more student-only parts, it makes it so the students still see that school colors daily. I am proud to be an Eagle, and always will be.

CALEB HUNT, Chief Jo student
