Letter -- Kennewick schools: Yes

February 2, 2014

I currently have two children in the Kennewick School District. My son is a junior at Southridge and my daughter is in the 5th grade at Cascade Elementary. We have always lived in Kennewick, and chose our home locations, so they could attend Kennewick schools. The levy would maintain funding at the current level for programs and services all our kids want and need; such as librarians, counselors, nurses, PE teachers, and music teachers. As well as extra-curricular activities; such as sports, drama, cheer, and DECA.

Throughout the their school years, my children have had teachers who have challenged, encouraged, and even inspired them. I give a lot of credit to the Kennewick School District, and that's why I urge you to vote "yes" for the replacement levy.
