Diving: Richland High's Piper sets school record

MOSES LAKE 11-DIVE MEET: Richland’s Mitchell Piper set a school record with 308.10 points at the Moses Lake 11-dive meet.

Piper, a senior, won his first career diving event and has qualified for state. Teammate Stuart Moore finished fourth.

Class 4A—1. Mitchell Piper, Richland, 308.10 points; 2. Tristiane Randall, Moses Lake, 273.65; 3. Cameron Rush, Eastmont, 244.20; 4. Stuart Moore, Richland, 240.10; 9. Cory Jagelski, Richland, 196.40.

Class 3A — 1. Sam Hart, Hanford, 214.60; 2. Porter McMichael, Hanford, 189.70.
