Walla Walla Veterans Affairs to hold Black History Month celebration

The Walla Walla Veterans Affairs Medical Center is holding to a Black History Month celebration starting at noon Thursday.

The event has a theme of "Civil Rights in America," and celebrates the contributions of black veterans.

The hourlong presentation includes discussions on "My Civil Rights Experience," as well as a performance of Lift Every Voice and Sing and a potluck dinner featuring different ethnic foods.

The event is in the campus theater, Building 78, at 77 Wainwright Drive, Walla Walla.
