Police find meth, guns, stolen property in Pasco apartment

— Police found multiple ounces of methamphetamine, guns and stolen property when they searched a Pasco apartment.

Hector Venencia, 35, and a 17-year-old boy were arrested at the apartment. Venencia, a convicted felon, was booked into the Franklin County jail.

Police went to the apartment at 3115 W. Agate on Monday night to investigate a stolen vehicle, Capt. Jim Raymond said.

They found out there were multiple people with warrants possibly in the apartment, including the man who originally reported the stolen vehicle.

Officers got a search warrant and went into the apartment looking for the wanted men, Raymond said. They spotted drugs and stolen property inside.

Officers found at least two ounces of meth, “quite a bit” of marijuana, multiple guns and property stolen in recent burglaries, Raymond said.

“All of the narcotics appeared to be packaged for sale,” Raymond said.

The man who originally called police about the stolen vehicle was not at the house when officers arrived, Raymond said.

Police are working to identify the stolen property.
