Pasco — Two people were able to escape an early-morning house fire Tuesday in Pasco.
Fire crews were called around 5 a.m. to the house on the 900 block of South Lindsay, said Dave Hare, Pasco fire battalion chief. Flames were coming from the attic.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic and put it out in about 30 minutes, Hare said. The fire was most likely electrical.
There were two people home when the fire started, Hare said. Four children also live at the house but none of them were home during the fire.
No injuries were reported.
There was some fire and smoke damage to the attic, Hare said.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced family.
