Fast Focus 'What can the Tri-Cities to do better reserve open spaces?' Well worth the cost

January 26, 2014

I would be in favor of paying a small amount of tax to preserve open spaces around the Tri-Cities. Areas such as Amon Creek just south of Claybell Park and Badger Mountain are areas I would like to see supported with this initiative. If the measure would only cost $11 a year to the average homeowner, then I feel it is well worth it.

Those who have not been to Amon Creek or Badger Mountain should take the time to visit and enjoy these beautiful areas. There is a proposed development to build many new houses in the Amon Creek area. Hopefully a new tax initiative could help preserve much of the Amon Creek area.
