Fast Focus 'What can the Tri-Cities to do better reserve open spaces?' Reasonable, limited tax

Preservation of open space, and the recreational opportunities it provides, requires money. With budget cuts at all levels of government it is crucial to have a local source of funding. A countywide conservation futures tax implemented with a reasonable rate and sunset period is the most appropriate option. Look at the success that Spokane County has had with this approach.
