Tri-City HeraldJanuary 25, 2014

The Benton County Noxious Weed Control Board will hold its annual public hearing to consider adopting the 2014 Benton County Noxious Weed Control List at 6 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Benton Rural Electric Association conference room, at 6095 W. Van Giesen in West Richland.

The Washington State Noxious Weed Control Board adopts a statewide list, but local weed boards also can create a county weed list.

The list will determine which weeds private and public property owners and land managers will be required to control, according to a news release.

For more information, email Mark Nielson, board manager, at or call 509-366-1678.
