Walsh, Nealey to hold telephone town meeting

By the Herald staffJanuary 25, 2014

State Reps. Maureen Walsh, R-Walla Walla, and Terry Nealey, R-Dayton, have scheduled a telephone town hall meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The legislators will discuss issues important to the 16th Legislative District, which includes parts of Franklin and Benton counties, according to a news release.

People can take part in the event by calling 800-213-8596. Callers may ask questions by pressing the star button on their telephones, and also may vote in live polling during the call.

A similar event that included Eighth District legislators recently drew 3,100 callers, officials said.

The legislative session is scheduled to continue through March 13.
