Suspects arrested after cash and guns stolen from Kennewick home

Tri-City HeraldJanuary 23, 2014

— Benton County authorities arrested two men who they say stole cash, guns and collector coins from a Kennewick house.

The house on the 5400 block of W. Umatilla Avenue was broken into during the day Tuesday, Sheriff Steve Keane said. Precious metals and bonds were also taken.

The burglars left the house with a large amount of cash.

Deputies arrested Lane T. Lawson, 27, and Travis E. Goodan, 28, shortly after the break-in. The men were booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of first-degree burglary.

Deputies searched a rental storage facility and a house on North Louisiana Street in Kennewick after the arrests, Keane said. Most of the stuff taken during the break-in was found at the locations.
