Kennewick City Council to hold retreat

The Kennewick City Council will hold a retreat 5 p.m. Thursday at the Kennewick Police Station training room.

Consultant Carl Neu's presentation will discuss the role of the council as a whole, the role of individual council members and how to be an effective council.

The Richland City Council also plans a retreat noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive. The topic of the meeting is council governance.

Both sessions are open to the public.
