Veteran leaders renamed to wine industry board

Longtime wine industry leaders recently were reappointed to the Washington Wine Industry Foundation Board by their fellow board members.

Board members who were reappointed include Tom Waliser of Beresan Winery in Walla Walla, Rob Sullivan of O-S Winery in Bellevue, Carol Munro of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Simon Siegl of Coefficient Consulting in Seattle.

The goal of the foundation's board is to help strengthen the future of the wine industry and encourage education, research and leadership.

Officers for 2014 are Roger Gamache of Gamache Vintners in Mesa as chairman, Munro as vice chairwoman and Sullivan as secretary/treasurer.

Other board members include Greg Lill of DeLille Cellars, Woodinville; Paul Champoux of Champoux Vineyards, Prosser; Stephanie Meier of Stoel Rives, Seattle; Jamie Peha of Peha Promotions, Kenmore; Bill Shibley of Northwest Farm Credit Services, Pasco, Bradley Walker of Walker and Associates, Seattle; and Mark Wheeler of Saddle Mountain Vineyards, Seattle.
