Letter: Blockbuster patrons made job enjoyable

January 22, 2014

With Blockbuster video rentals coming to a close, we want to thank all of the customers who have visited us over the years. We laughed, cried and argued over movies. We gave glorious recommendations and some horrible recommendations. We helped customers find movies that were not well-known and they showed us films that even as frequent movie watchers, we never would have seen.

We formed bonds that will never be broken with customers over films, and we appreciate everyone of you who came in and spent time renting movies.

Blockbuster may be closing its doors, but everyone who came through those doors showed us how great of a job we had just by watching movies. We will miss talking about movies, but hope we left some kind of impression on you that there are all kinds of movies that need to be seen. Come by, say goodbye and enjoy the last few remaining days of Blockbuster.
