Stormwater workshop Thursday in Kennewick

A stormwater workshop aimed at home builders, landscapers, contractors, engineering consultants, architects and local agencies is planned Thursday in Kennewick.

A morning session focused on landscapers, builders, and contractors will run from 8 to 11 a.m. A session for engineers, architects and local agencies is from 1 to 4 p.m.

The public is welcome. The free workshop, sponsored by the cities of Richland, Kennewick, West Richland and Pasco, and the Home Builders Association of Tri-Cities, is at the Home Builders office at 10001 W. Clearwater Ave.

Topics will range from stormwater best management practices to legal liabilities. Vendors also will present numerous runoff mitigation products for homebuilders, landscapers and contractors.
