Benton PUD raises $4,600 for charity

By The Tri-City HeraldJanuary 21, 2014

Benton PUD raised more than $4,600 this year during its Helping Hands holiday drive, exceeding the $3,200 raised last year.

More than $1,000 of the total was donated by the public utility district's employees.

The money will help 47 families pay their electric bills. Customers may continue to donate year-round with a pledge on their monthly utility payment or by making one-time donations.
