By the Herald staffJanuary 20, 2014

Dennis Gisi, chief executive officer at Pasco's Bank Reale, recently was appointed by Gov. Jay Inslee to the Financial Education Public-Private Partnership.

The partnership's mission is to promote financial education in K-12 classrooms.

Bank Reale offers financial education to small Pasco businesses. Gisi has been active in various parent-teacher associations, Junior Achievement and the Foundation for Early Learning in Seattle.

"I believe financial knowledge is the basis for students and adults to improve family circumstances, job opportunities and the ability to analyze financial choices," Gisi said in a statement.
