Vista teachers to take McDonald's orders

Teachers and staff from Vista Elementary School in Kennewick will be taking customers' orders at two McDonald's restaurants from 4:45 to 7:15 p.m. Jan. 29. during McTeacher Night.

Teachers and other school staff will be greeting guests, taking orders and serving food. Families will be provided custom tray liners with math activities, while volunteers from Vista's Action Team Partnership will be at the restaurant.

The McDonald's at 1409 N. Kellogg St. will be transformed into a fun-filled learning environment for students in grades K-2, while the McDonald's at 7505 W. Clearwater will be tailored for students in grades 3-5.

A percentage of the proceeds from the evening's sales go directly to Vista Elementary PTO.
