Election letter -- Pasco schools: Yes

January 20, 2014

Once again Pasco voters are being asked to support the education of our students by voting "yes" on the upcoming levy election. As a recently retired Pasco School District employee, I now look at the impact our levy dollars have on students through the eyes of a grandmother and neighbor. The PSD has been -- and continues to be -- good stewards of the taxpayers' dollars. Without full funding for education from the state, levy dollars provide people and programs that are essential to the success of our students.

My grandchildren, your children or grandchildren, and your neighbors' children are the future. Without your "yes vote," we fail in our duty to the students of Pasco. Please join me in voting yes; Pasco students are counting on us.
