Election letter -- Kennewick schools: Yes

January 20, 2014

I hope voters will join me in supporting the Kennewick School District renewal levy. This levy is critical not only for student learning, but also for athletics, music, transportation, technology and more. Attend a basketball game, music program or other activity at any of the Kennewick schools and you will understand how levy dollars benefit the students and the community.

I have served on the levy and bond and facility planning committees for a number of years and firmly believe the district is an outstanding steward of our taxpayer dollars. Your ballot should arrive in the next day or so. Please open your ballot right away, vote yes and return it in person or by mail to the county auditor's office. The deadline is February 11.
