— Police arrested three juveniles in connection with a rash of vehicle prowls over the weekend in Benton County.

About 30 vehicles were rummaged through between the areas of South Dayton Street and South Fruitland Street in Kennewick, according to police. Money, tools, keys and other items were stolen.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office investigated similar vehicle prowls on Friday night.

Kennewick police and the sheriff’s office worked together to track down the three juvenile suspects, said Sgt. Ken Lattin.

Both agencies helped recover some stolen items taken during the prowls and in other cases.
