By the Tri-City HeraldJanuary 19, 2014

Tri-City residents are invited to a Thursday open house at the new nursing education facility for Washington State University Tri-Cities.

The new facility in a former retail building on Richland's Lee Boulevard opened to students this semester.

The space is being leased from Kadlec Health System for $1 a year and was renovated with donations from Kadlec, Group Health Cooperative, Lampson International, Lourdes Health Network, Trios Health and Prosser Memorial Hospital.

The open house starts at 11 a.m. and will begin with a short program. Refreshments will be provided.
