Walla Walla man taken to hospital after motorcycle crash

A 67-year-old Walla Walla man was taken to the hospital Tuesday after he lost control of a motorcycle and hit a post.

J.W. Olson lost control of a Harley Davidson going around a curve near Mission Road just south of College Place, according to the Washington State Patrol. The Harley went off the road and hit a power post.

Olson was taken to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, the state patrol said. He was listed in serious condition Tuesday evening.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, state patrol said. The Harley was towed from the scene.
