BOYS BASKETBALL: Southridge goes on road to beat Pendleton

By the Tri-City HeraldJanuary 14, 2014

Daniel Getchell made a steal and hit an 8-foot runner with 12.3 seconds left to lift Southridge to a 60-59 nonleague boys basketball road win over Pendleton.

Getchell scored 14 points to lead the Suns, who trailed by two points after three quarters but scrapped their way to a win after three consecutive losses last week.

“(I liked) going on the road, getting over a rough weekend and getting back to playing basketball,” Southridge coach D.J. Traver said.
