Wind gust blamed for rolling semi on Highway 240

Strong winds knocked over a tractor trailer on Highway 240 early this morning, injuring the driver.

Marshall Kelly, 53, of Puyallup, was driving westbound on the highway west of Richland when a gust of wind pushed his tractor trailer over at 7 a.m., said a release from Washington State Patrol.

The truck was totaled in the crash. Kelly was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center for treatment.
