Up to 65 mph gusts forecast for Tri-Cities

— Wind gusts could be has high as 65 mph Saturday night in the Tri-Cities as the worst of a predicted storm system hits, according to the National Weather Service.

Winds Saturday could be 26 to 34 mph with gusts as high as 49 mph, according to the weather service.

Sustained speeds could increase to 39 to 44 mph Saturday night before decreasing early Sunday morning.

Downed trees and power lines are possible, according to the weather service.

The winds should die down some Sunday through Monday, but weather could continue to be breezy.
