Bowling: Richland tops Kennewick in tight match

Richland 3, Kennewick 0: Madeline Richardson rolled a 196-162 to lead the Bombers past the Lions in an extremely close Mid-Columbia Conference match Thursday at Spare Time Lanes in Kennewick.

Richland won the match 2,001 to 1,964, as the teams even tied one of the Baker games.

“It was great competition,” Kennewick coach Oscar Garnica said. “Once again, I love this kind of atmosphere because it prepares them for the postseason.”
