CBC women open East play with rout of Treasure Valley

Courtney Nelson scored 15 points to lead three Columbia Basin College players in double figures as the Hawks opened NWAACC East play with an 82-56 victory over Treasure Valley in Ontario, Ore.

Nelson was 6-of-10 from the field, including 3-of-3 from behind the 3-point line. Kelsey Yenney added 12 points and Sierra Higheagle had 10, as the Hawks made 50 percent of their shots (20-of-40) in the first half to jump out to a 48-21 lead.
