There were also tea candles set out in a shape of a heart and fake rose petals were stuck in the ice near a dock. Expect cloudy conditions with rain likely in the afternoon and a high near 46, according to the National Weather Service.

— A band of precipitation will move through the Tri-City region over the next couple of hours, the National Weather Service reported at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

There will be some areas where temperatures will be at or just below freezing, resulting in freezing rain.

Some minor ice accumulations will be possible resulting in slick roadways and surfaces, the weather service said.

Motorists in the Tri-Cities, Prosser, Benton City, Hermiston and Walla Walla are encouraged to drive with caution over the next couple of hours as they may encounter these areas of freezing rain and slick conditions, the weather service said.
