Citizenship, English classes begin Tuesday in Richland

By the Tri-City HeraldJanuary 6, 2014

New classes for U.S. citizenship run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at West Side Church in Richland.

This class is for new students or for those who have not passed the citizenship test yet. It will continue until the end of May, but students may take the test whenever they are ready.

There is no fee for the class. Students should be able to read, write and speak some English and should bring paper and a pen or pencil to class. Enrollment for this class will close Jan. 28.

Classes for English language will continue at the same time as the citizenship classes for either new students or those currently enrolled.

For more information about citizenship, call Irene Johnson at 509-626-0262. For information about English classes, call Robin Morris at 509-943-9942.
