Crash on Highway 395 in Kennewick injures two

Paramedics tend to a man involved in a two-car wreck at Highway 395 and Clearwater Avenue in Kennewick. Police on scene said he was suffering from chest pains and a woman had suffered some cuts.

— A rear-end collision Friday on Highway 395 in Kennewick injured two people, sending one of them to a local hospital.

The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. near Clearwater Avenue as Anna V. Koroleva, 27, was stopped at a red light in a Honda Accord, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Jose A. Flores, 38, reportedly wasn’t paying attention and crashed into the Honda in a Chevy Tahoe.

Koroleva, of Kennewick, was injured in the crash but was not taken to a hospital, state patrol said. Flores, of Pasco, was taken to Trios Health in Kennewick. His condition was not immediately available.

Koroleva was able to drive the Honda from the scene, state patrol said. The Chevy Tahoe was totaled and towed away.

Flores was cited for negligent driving, state patrol said.
