Registration under way for sewing expo trip

The Clothing & Textile Advisors is chartering a 50-passenger bus to the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup for the Sewing & Stitchery Expo, the largest sewing exhibit and seminar in the Northwest.

The bus will leave from Richland at 6 a.m. Feb. 28. It also will stop in Benton City at 6:30 a.m., Prosser at 7 a.m. and Yakima at 7:45 a.m. to pick up participants.

On March 1, the bus will leave the expo at 6 p.m. for the return trip home. A 30-minute dinner stop is planned at North Bend.

Transportation and lodging (two people to a room) are included in the $120 fee. If postmarked after Jan. 30, the cost is $135. A minimum of 35 registrations is required by Jan. 30.

Each participant should purchase their own daily entrance tickets and seminar tickets.

Reasonable accommodations for individuals who qualify under the American with Disabilities Act are available upon request. If accommodation is not requested 10 days in advance, we cannot guarantee availability of accommodation on site.
