Letters: Bikers say thanks

January 2, 2014

The Columbia Basin Chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse would like to say thanks to the Tri-City residents who donated to our cause.

Our many children were surprised as bikers arrived with packages of toys, coloring books and Beanie Babies! All of the kids received multiple gifts, and we could not have done without all the wonderful generosity of the residents of the Tri-Cities, and one from the city of Bellevue!

We would also like to thank the Tri-City Herald for reporting on the needs of local nonprofits. As our organization followed the daily stories produced by the Herald, we all have been truly blessed by the generosity of the community and local businesses. Again, thank you all, and to all, a good night!
