Grace Winden, 13, tosses a pine cone with her mother Linda on Monday as the pair went for a walk in Finley. Linda, a paraeducator at Canyon View Elementary School in Kennewick, said she enjoys how her school work schedule synchs with her kids’ and that coming up with games during walks keeps their daily exercise interesting.
