The Kennewick Irrigation District board plans to meet Friday to finalize the sale of 670 acres of district-owned property on Red Mountain.

The land sold for $8.3 million in a November auction to a Canadian company. The property is considered prime for wine grape growing.

Board members will meet at 9 a.m. at the district's offices at 12 W. Kennewick Ave. Bids for several irrigation projects also are on the agenda.
