Ski Bluewood to be open starting Tuesday

DAYTON -- The slopes are ready to open at Ski Bluewood Tuesday.

The Ski Bluewood an-nounced it will open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today with lift tickets reduced to $29. The ski park is at 2000 N. Touchet Road, Dayton

Most of the primary slopes will be open, though the Triple Nickel chair will not run today, according its website. The slopes received a good 8 to 10 inches over the past several days.

Bluewood will close on Christmas but reopen from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Thursday to Jan. 5. Regular lift tickets prices are $44 for adults, $38 for students and seniors, and $5 for children 6 and under.
