Walla Walla women injured in crash

— A two-car collision Friday south of Walla Walla sent one woman to the hospital and injured another.

The collision happened around 10:55 a.m. on Old Milton Highway, state patrol said. A Ford Focus crashed into an Acura while the car was stopped at a red light.

The driver of the Acura, Laura G. Reiber, was treated at the scene for injuries, state patrol said. The 60-year-old woman is from Walla Walla.

The driver of the Focus, Beatriz Camarena, 52, of Milton Freewater, was taken to Walla Walla General Hospital. Her condition was not immediately available.

There were no passengers in either car. No citations were issued.
