-- A Christmas Lighting Festival is Dec. 20-22 in Leavenworth. A complete list of events is at www.leavenworth.org/event/2436.

-- A big band Christmas concert starts at 7 p.m. Dec. 20-21 in the theater at Columbia Basin College in Pasco. Featured performers include the CBC Jazz Orchestra, Dave Cazier and vocalist Janelle Williams.

Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors and are available at the door.

-- Christmas carnival and train rides is from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 21 at Camp Kiwanis at the north end of Columbia Park in Kennewick. Admission is $5 general and free for ages 5 and younger. Cost includes train rides on the J&S Express, photos with Santa, a Polar Express storytime, performance by Big Top the Clown, crafts and snacks, cider and hot chocolate.

Proceeds go toward scholarships for Mid-Columbia students.

-- A children's Christmas party is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 21 at the the Eagles Lodge on Sylvester Street in Pasco.

Festivities include a cookie walk, games, coloring, storytelling and a visit with Santa. Admission is free, and each child will receive a free lunch. Call 585-9732.

-- The Ladies Auxiliary American Legion, Post 34 in Pasco, is holding its annual Christmas Party for children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 21.

Guests can take a free picture with Santa, as well as enjoy a storybook corner, caroling and free lunch. Children will also receive stockings and toys from Santa.

Veterans, both active duty and reserved, as well as any families and invited guests, are welcome to join the festivities, which will be in the American Legion building, 1029 W. Sylvester St., Pasco. Call 547-5918.

-- The CREHST museum will feature a Christmas village exhibit through Jan. 9. The village has approximately 35 sets consisting of one or more items, and some of the pieces are from The Department 56 Dickenson Collection.

The museum is at 95 Lee Blvd., Richland, next to Howard Amon Park. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $5 adults and $4 seniors and students.

-- The annual Living Nativity is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 20-21 and 24 at the Church of the Nazarene, 2402 S. Union St., Kennewick. Each show is about 15 minutes long. Admission is free. Cookies, hot chocolate and cider provided.
