Seattle Sounders trade Eddie Johnson to D.C. United

The Sounders have confirmed sending Eddie Johnson to D.C. United for what general manager Adrian Hanauer calls "a large amount" of allocation money. That money, Hanauer says, should show up soon with "one or two pretty major signings … potentially."
