Two cars collided on slippery roads at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, halting traffic for at least an hour in Kennewick.

One of the cars blocked the northbound traffic and the other blocked the southbound traffic on the Highway 395 overpass where it meets Highway 240, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Traffic remained at a stand still for more than an hours and by 8 p.m., was flowing smoothly again.
